Service Description

This combination session brings together the three therapies of the Biomat, Biofield Tuning and Reiki into one powerful treatment. The Biomat® converts electricity into Far Infrared Rays (FIR) and produces negative ions, to penetrate 6-8 inches into the the body, to accelerate detoxification, cellular repair, and regeneration. Strips of Amethyst and Black Tourmaline crystals, natural conductors of FIR light waves, cover the entire surface of the Biomat, assisting with the healing. Biofield Tuning shifts energetic and emotional blockages to rebalance the body's vibrational rate. This energy therapy uses sound to bring balance to all dimensions of health in the physical, mental and energetic bodies. Using specific tones generated through tuning forks, this therapy clears congestion and stress in your energy field, also known as your biofield, that is caused through stress, trauma, illness and injury. Retuning the field can shift self-limiting beliefs and behaviours, improving wellbeing. Reiki I - Hands-on healing that activates one’s ability to heal one’s self in mind, body and spirit. Reiki is Universal Life Energy. Reiki, (pronounced “ray key”), is two Japanese words: “Rei” means universal life and “ki” means energy or power (Prana in Sanskrit). Energy can stagnate in the body when emotional pain or trauma has been stored in the body or through physical injury and over time these energy blocks can develop into physical manifestations as illness or self-limiting beliefs, fears or blocks. Reiki works with the innate part of ourselves that knows what needs to be healed, thereby by-passing the symptoms and activating the self healing to take place at the root of the problem. What to expect: For the first half of the session you will relax on a Bio-Mat, set to a toasty 35 – 45 degrees (depending on individual preference) while Tuning Forks are used to move through your move through your energetic field to clear areas of dissonance or tension in the vibratory field (or biofield) around your body. In the second part of the session, the Bio-Mat is turned off and the session is closed with integrative Reiki healing. We recommend rehydrating the body following a treatment, to assist with the movement of energy. Contraindications: Please note, pregnancy, cancer, pacemakers and severe illness, concussion or broken bones within the last 6 months are contraindicated in some sessions.
