DeathWalker Support Services
Service Description
Deathwalker services refer to a holistic, relational approach to deathcare in which a trained person — a Deathwalker — accompanies and supports someone through the lived experience of dying, death and bereavement. Rather than a purely medical or outsourced service, a Deathwalker walks with individuals, families and communities before, during, and after death, helping them prepare emotionally, practically and spiritually, and guiding them through legal, body-care, ceremony and grief processes with courage, compassion and clarity. Deathwalker work emphasises: - helping people understand and engage with their own dying and loss, including planning and decision-making; - accompanying the dying person and their loved ones with presence and care through the transition; - supporting family-led after-death care and meaningful ceremonies that honour the person who has died; - offering education, advocacy and community empowerment so death and bereavement become more conscious, connected personal experiences rather than hidden or institutionalised processes. Please call for a confidential, no obligation chat with Kerri to discuss your needs on 0422 944 650 prior to booking.
