Reiki II: is also known as Absent Healing, it is the practice of sending Reiki healing energy via distance by using a proxy and to also bring through messages from your higher self or higher consciousness. Reiki is Universal Life Energy. Reiki, (pronounced “ray key”), is two Japanese words: “Rei” means universal life and “ki” means energy or power (Prana in Sanskrit). Energy can stagnate in the body when emotional pain or trauma has been stored in the body or through physical injury and over time these energy blocks can develop into physical manifestations as illness or self-limiting beliefs, fears or blocks. Reiki works with the innate part of ourselves that knows what needs to be healed, thereby by-passing the symptoms and activating the self healing to take place at the root of the problem. Kerri is trained in the Usui Reiki Method from the Usui Reiki Centre in Camberwell. “The Usui Reiki system of natural healing is a map that returns to you, your power of creativity and healing. It is a gateway to a multi-dimensional healing reality.” What to expect: Reiki is unobtrusive, and is guided by what your own body and spirit need. Most people experience a sense of peace, calmness and decreased stress as a result of a Reiki session. During an absent healing session, you do not need to do anything to prepare, other than to intend that you will receive the healing. You may feel a relief from pain (physical or emotional) or a quickened response to healing and the reduction of other physical symptoms. Following a Reiki session, you may experience shifts in awareness in different aspects of your life (relationships, confidence, self-love, positive shift in attitudes) as the energy shifts in your Etheric, Emotional and Mental Bodies (Auric Field). Messages that come through during the session will be emailed to you within 48 hours of the healing session.
